Cyber Planning & Program Management (Business Analyst)
Location: Vancouver, BC (Dunsmuir Office)
Duration: 8-Month Contract
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Cyber Planning & Program Management Consultant (Business Analyst) to support one of British Columbia's largest utility providers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to enterprise cybersecurity initiatives by supporting both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) cybersecurity programs.
Working closely with cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders, and project managers, you'll help drive the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects through business analysis, process improvement, documentation, reporting, and program coordination.
Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements for cybersecurity projects and work programs.

Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements, process maps, governance documents, meeting minutes, and project deliverables.

Support cybersecurity teams by providing reporting, scheduling, process mapping, testing coordination, and administrative project support.

Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to document business processes and project requirements.

Assist with testing activities, including developing test plans, test scripts, and documenting results.

Support project planning, stakeholder communications, and ongoing program management activities.

Coordinate meetings, maintain project documentation, and track action items to support successful project execution.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity teams across the organization.

Assist in the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and project delivery practices.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience supporting medium to large enterprise projects.

Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

Strong process mapping, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience supporting testing activities and project coordination.

Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting cybersecurity, Operational Technology (OT), or Information Technology (IT) projects.

Experience working within utilities, critical infrastructure, or public sector environments.

Knowledge of business process improvement and project governance methodologies.

Experience coordinating enterprise programs involving multiple stakeholders.
