Training Support Professional
Location: Fraser Valley, BC (Hybrid)
Duration: 10-Month Contract
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Training Support Professional to support one of British Columbia's largest utility providers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile enterprise transformation initiative and play a key role in helping employees successfully adopt new technologies and business processes.
The Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Project is replacing three legacy distribution control systems with GE Vernova's Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). As part of this transformation, business processes will be streamlined, and the quality of critical operational data will be improved. The Change Management and Training Team is responsible for developing and delivering activities that drive stakeholder awareness, readiness, and adoption throughout the project.
Responsibilities

Coordinate training schedules by gathering scheduling inputs from business groups and project stakeholders.

Execute training logistics to ensure successful delivery of instructor-led and virtual training sessions.

Support the development of user-friendly technical training materials, presentations, job aids, and learning resources.

Analyze training data and prepare reports to track training participation, completion, and effectiveness.

Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to gather and confirm training requirements.

Support the delivery of change management and training activities that promote successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Maintain training documentation, schedules, and supporting project materials.

Assist with continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods based on feedback and lessons learned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.

1–2 years of experience designing, developing, or coordinating training within a project environment.

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and synthesize information from multiple sources.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Comfortable presenting to groups and supporting training delivery.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting utility or infrastructure projects.

PROSCI Certification.

Certificate or Diploma in Instructional Design or Adult Education.

Experience with Camtasia or video editing software.

Experience working with distribution control systems.
