The responsibilities of the Sales Professional are centered on understanding and meeting customer needs. In order to sell, this person must have a basic knowledge of cars and be able to learn about the prices, models, trims, options, and other variations of the manufacturer’s product. They should also know about the competition’s products and prices. But most of all this person must show caring for their customers and a strong interest in exceeding their expectations. This person must have polished communication skills with customers, including the ability to present the company’s products and the ability to discover, by questioning, exactly what the customer’s needs are. The Sales Professional is a resourceful negotiator, capable of addressing customer hesitation and resistance. Throughout the selling process, the Sales Professional presents a positive image of the dealership, both in mode of dress and helpful and friendly attitude. The Salesperson, in conjunction with the Sales Manager, determines personal sales goals and the methods by which those goals will be met.
This role provides hands-on training, and the opportunity to learn and grow with one of Canada's fastest growing dealer groups. Commission based to start with competitive rates and bonuses.
