The Dumont Technical Institute, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:

Part Time Instructor- Practical Nursing Program

Competition Code: 2602 100R PT PN Aug 5

Responsibilities: To provide practical, theoretical and clinical instruction of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Practical Nursing program. Instructor will provide program support for adult students in the areas of long term and acute care settings. Ensure the planning and delivery of nursing skills courses and instructional assistance with labs. Attend scheduled meetings and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a Degree in Nursing. Eligible for registration (active status) with the CRNS and have up to date TLR, First Aid/CPR etc. The instructor will have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Two (2) years of recent acute care experience would be considered an asset.

Remuneration: GDI Faculty 2 pay grid $72,038 – $94,798 Term: September 2026 to June 2027 (possibility of renewal) Deadline for Applications: August 5, 2026 The Gabriel Dumont Institute has authority from the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission to hire affirmatively.
