Job description
Role: Banker Support Analyst (Loan Transaction Coordination)
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Summary
Provide transversal data support to banker and credit teams managing new and existing client relationships and execution of transactions for Financing Solutions Americas, Corporate Coverage North America, including General Corporates, Energy & Natural Resources, Aviation, International Desk, and Value Preservation Group (VPG).
The Banker Support Analyst will support Corporate Banking teams by maintaining client and legal entity data, coordinating loan transactions, ensuring data integrity, and assisting with corporate credit and banking operations.

Responsibilities
New Deal Support
  • Create groups and attach/detach legal entities.
  • Update client coverage information.
  • Verify Relationship Manager assignments for new accounts.
  • Analyze newly opened account data.
  • Resolve data deficiencies identified through data quality reviews.
Ongoing Deal Maintenance
  • Submit requests through internal banking platforms.
  • Maintain accurate client and legal entity information.
  • Update legal names, management entities, and client coverage.
  • Process mergers, acquisitions, and duplicate entity resolutions.
  • Maintain Economic Dependency relationships between legal entities and Business Groups.
  • Support inquiries related to credit lines, regulatory status, outstanding balances, fees, and transactional or referential data.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support ad hoc data collection projects.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and quality.
  • Support Corporate Banking and Credit teams with transaction execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience supporting Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Loan Operations, or Credit Operations.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Banking products.
  • Understanding of Corporate Credit processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
