  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain detection rules, frameworks, and supporting technologies
  • Contribute to the adoption of Detection-as-Code practices using version control and modern development workflows
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate validation, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management of detection content

  • Create automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks
  • Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams to improve detection coverage and investigation workflows
  • Develop reusable tooling, libraries, and frameworks that support detection engineering initiatives
  • Apply secure coding practices, testing strategies, and quality controls throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Research emerging technologies and contribute to infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives

Qualifications

  • Program or script using languages such as Python, Go, PowerShell, or JavaScript
  • Integrate platforms and services through APIs
  • Apply software development best practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles
  • Work with cloud platforms, containerized environments, and infrastructure technologies
