Who We’re Looking For

CDM is seeking an SEM Manager who will manage & oversee a portfolio of clients & be a part of the driving force for scaling our PPC department. You will play an integral role in growing the department with our team.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess extensive knowledge and experience in Paid Search and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour. As the ideal candidate, you have a continued attitude of “can do” by being the gold standard of a digital marketer.

You are a strategic thinker who can provide technical and creative solutions relating to campaign strategy, landing page experience, and you are not afraid to learn new skills to move the needle forward.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience managing monthly budgets of $250,000 or greater. The ideal candidate loves the idea that a company is paid because of performance, not because of a service.

What You'll Do

Work with the Sr. SEM Manager to help lead day-to-day campaign management, ensuring all campaign objectives are met through analyzing performance and making data-driven optimizations

Manage budget pacing to ensure campaigns are on target for monthly budgets and performance goals

Lead the development and launch of campaigns across Google, Bing, GDN, and YouTube

Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to scale successful campaigns and optimize underperforming ones

Use advanced analytics and data-driven decision making to inform budget allocation and targeting strategies

Lead overall account audits to determine what restructures, expansions, and optimizations can be made to improve performance

Continuously monitor and apply industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in paid search advertising

Provide guidance and support to Analyst and Coordinator, helping them develop their skills and improve campaign outcomes

Create and implement robust A/B testing frameworks to continuously optimize campaign performance

Assist with reporting insights and ensure quality of final reporting deliverables

What We're Looking For

Fluent in English

3+ years experience in a PPC performance marketing role

Managed budgets of $250,000/mo+ in Google Ads

Advanced knowledge and in-depth experience with Google Ads

Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points with strong verbal and written communication skills

High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation. A natural inclination to move things forward

Preferred but not required: Google ad campaigns for home improvement companies
