Personal Trainer – Anytime Fitness Niagara Falls

Job Summary

Anytime Fitness Niagara Falls is seeking an energetic, passionate, and results-driven Personal Trainer to inspire members to achieve their health and fitness goals. The Personal Trainer will provide exceptional coaching through personalized fitness programs, one-on-one and small-group training sessions, and ongoing accountability. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding member experience while promoting a welcoming and supportive fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct fitness consultations and assessments to evaluate members' goals, fitness levels, and health history.
  • Develop customized training programs based on individual needs, abilities, and objectives.
  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging personal training and small-group sessions.
  • Educate members on proper exercise techniques, equipment use, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Track client progress and adjust training programs to maximize results.
  • Build strong relationships with members to encourage motivation, accountability, and long-term retention.
  • Promote personal training services and contribute to membership growth through referrals and consultations.
  • Maintain accurate client records, training notes, and scheduling information.
  • Ensure the fitness floor and equipment remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Stay current with fitness trends, continuing education, and certification requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the Anytime Fitness brand and values.

Qualifications

  • Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in personal training, fitness coaching, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise science, functional training, and injury prevention.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a clean, modern fitness facility with flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises and remain active throughout the workday.
  • Lift and move fitness equipment weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques safely and effectively.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
  • Maintain the physical capability to coach and assist members during workouts.
