Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity with our client. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual with experience operating Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a team setting, and are looking for a stable warehouse position, we want to hear from you!
  • Pay rate: $ 23.00/hour
  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Helping with container unloads
  • Working in shipping and receiving
  • Working in a team environment
  • Operate forklifts equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, clamps, elevating platforms, or trailer hitches to load, unload, transport, stack or remove materials
  • Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting any discrepancies
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Valid Raymond Reach Double Deep Reach Truck and Counterbalance certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
  • Ability to lift up to 25Lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must have certification for Raymond Reach and counterbalance.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
