You will lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with engineering and operations groups, and provide oversight for waste characterization, transportation, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Establish performance metrics and monitor program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide program management oversight for budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and long‑range strategic planning. Support commercial project delivery by ensuring waste management requirements are incorporated into project planning and execution. Develop and mentor a high‑performing team through coaching, succession planning, recruitment, and performance management. Foster strong relationships with regulators, contractors, stakeholders, Indigenous communities, and external partners. Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable regulatory, environmental, quality, and safety requirements. What You Bring:

Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Nuclear Science, or another related technical discipline. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is considered an asset. Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience within the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industrial environment. Demonstrated success leading complex technical programs, operations, or engineering teams. Experience developing strategic plans and executing large‑scale operational initiatives. Proven experience managing budgets, resources, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of waste management, environmental compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Experience presenting to executive leadership, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders. Strong leadership and people management abilities. Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong financial and business acumen.
