This leadership role is responsible for overseeing complex nonimmigrant and immigrant visa cases, managing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements across the immigration practice. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with U.S. business immigration, strong people leadership skills, and the ability to manage client relationships while delivering accurate, timely, and compliant immigration services. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Immigration Analysts, Law Clerks, and Senior Case Specialists, ensuring high-quality work and professional development. Oversee high-volume employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM labor certifications, I-140 immigrant petitions, Adjustment of Status (AOS), Employment Authorization Documents (EAD), and Advance Parole (AP) applications. Review complex immigration filings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with USCIS, Department of Labor, and other applicable government regulations. Manage team workload, staffing priorities, deadlines, and service level agreements while maintaining efficient case progression. Partner with attorneys and internal stakeholders to develop filing strategies, resolve escalated case issues, and mitigate immigration risks. Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned corporate clients by providing case updates, reporting, and strategic guidance on immigration programs. Develop and implement standard operating procedures, quality assurance processes, and workflow improvements to increase efficiency and reduce processing errors. Monitor immigration case metrics, reporting dashboards, expiration dates, compliance milestones, and filing deadlines to ensure proactive case management. Train and mentor team members on immigration law updates, filing procedures, best practices, and evolving regulatory requirements. Support technology initiatives by utilizing immigration case management systems, reporting platforms, and workflow automation tools to improve operational performance. Prepare and deliver client presentations, status meetings, and executive-level communications regarding immigration program performance and compliance. Maintain accurate case documentation while ensuring adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and immigration compliance regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in U.S. employment-based business immigration with progressive responsibilities. Minimum of 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience within an immigration law firm or corporate immigration practice. Extensive knowledge of U.S. business immigration processes, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status, EAD, and Advance Parole. Strong understanding of USCIS, Department of Labor, and employment-based immigration regulations and compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience reviewing complex immigration petitions and preparing high-quality, audit-ready case files. Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts, competing priorities, and high-volume case workloads while meeting strict deadlines. Experience developing and improving operational workflows, quality assurance programs, and team performance metrics. Proficiency with immigration case management software, reporting platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and workflow automation tools. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with attorneys, HR professionals, executives, and corporate clients. Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting large enterprise corporate immigration programs across multiple business units and geographic locations. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, or operational excellence initiatives. Experience implementing technology solutions, workflow automation, and case management system enhancements. Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience utilizing dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics to improve team performance. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities with a demonstrated commitment to employee development and engagement. Ability to identify immigration risks, recommend strategic solutions, and deliver exceptional client service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
