Join Our Team as a Financial Planner

In this position, you will focus on building strong client relationships, delivering expert advice, and driving business growth.

1. Your responsibilities will include: Partnering with clients to understand their life and financial objectives, conducting in-depth financial reviews, and fostering long-term connections through ongoing support and guidance
2. Leveraging data-driven insights to analyze results, develop recommendations, and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of financial programs, policies, and practices
3. Collaborating with your team to achieve shared objectives while enhancing the client experience and demonstrating a commitment to service excellence
4. Monitoring productivity and service delivery, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, and championing continuous improvement initiatives
5. Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure you remain at the forefront of financial planning
6. Sharing your expertise by mentoring and guiding colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
7. Upholding a strong culture of risk management and control, aligned with the organization’s risk appetite
8. Engaging fully as a valued team member and contributing to a positive, service-oriented workplace

What We’re Looking For

• Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning (IPF) required prior to start date
• Willungness to obtain Registered Representative (RR) licensing with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), if not currently licensed
• 3 to 5 years of banking experience
• Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs
• Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape and economic market issues
• Strong communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance and build relationships
