The successful candidate will be responsible for providing executive leadership to a diverse portfolio of practice-support products, services, and educational offerings. This portfolio is designed to advance family medicine, support physicians throughout their careers, and generate significant non-dues revenue for the organization. The role requires a strategic and financially astute leader who can balance member value, educational excellence, and business sustainability. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Family Physician with a minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience, including a strong background in business development and people management. Formal education or professional development in business development is essential, as is a deep understanding of family medicine and the healthcare landscape. The Executive Director will be accountable for the strategic impact and financial performance of the portfolio, leading initiatives that meet the evolving needs of family physicians and residents. Key responsibilities include the development and management of conferences, continuing professional development programs, clinical publications, practice guidelines, and examination preparation resources. The role demands exceptional relationship-building, communication, change leadership, and strategic planning skills.
