RED Mountain Resort is now accepting applicants for the position of Assistant Director, Snowsports for the 2026/27 Winter season! This is an excellent leadership opportunity for an experienced Snowsports professional to join a dynamic and busy snow school.
The Assistant Director works closely with the Director in supervising the daily running of the Ski & Snowboard School. This position plays a key role in operating an efficient, organized and profitable department. The Assistant Director is the liaison between Lead Hands, Front Desk and School groups.
The Assistant Director will primarily act as the School Group coordinator to liaise with local schools and youth groups in organizing and implementing single and multi-day excursions throughout the season. This will involve everything concerning school groups – booking dates, collecting forms, and overseeing their daily visits.
The Assistant Director will assist the Director in managing daily operations, overseeing reservations, lessons and organization of staff and volunteers. They must have extensive experience in snowsports programs to ensure lesson quality standards. The Assistant Director is also responsible for helping train lead hands, front desk staff as well as instructors at the start of the season. They may also have duties related to growing the snowsports marketing plan, in addition to understanding the budgeting of the department.
This position will be full-time, from late October to mid-April and will include weekends and holidays.
This is a full-time, temporary seasonal position.
End Date: April 2027
The wage range for this position will be $24.00-$26.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
