Reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager the Carpenter is responsible for completing repairs/alterations to building structures; for example walls ceilings doors windows millwork abatement flooring wall cladding/paneling Gyproc etc. while adhering to building fire infection prevention and control codes and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for small in-house renovations and additions including infection prevention and control hoarding as required. This work must be done in accordance with all provincial building fire and infection prevention and control codes and regulations; all pertinent hospital policies and procedures must also be adhered to. The Carpenter may perform other duties as required. Travel within the zone or other zones as needed.
