Buyer

Our client is a well known retailer looking for a unique in-house buyer. This person will be stocking in store and ecommerce product and be directly interacting with customers at the store level.

This is full time and pays $100,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Buying, greet customers, identify their needs, and provide expert advice and product demonstrations.
• Sales & Upselling: Achieve and exceed personal and store sales targets by effectively cross-selling and upselling merchandise.
• Client Relations: Build trusting relationships with shoppers to encourage repeat visits and promote loyalty programs.
• Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints or inquiries professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related target-driven environment.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic inventory software.
• Soft Skills: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, strong basic math skills, and a proactive, positive attitude.
