This role ensures that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time while optimizing transportation costs maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting compliance with food safety and regulatory Logistics Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Production Warehousing Customer Service Procurement Quality Assurance and external transportation providers to ensure uninterrupted operations and exceptional customer ResponsibilitiesEmbody and promotecompanys core values (Integrity Growth and Resilience).Transportation & Freight ManagementCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments through approved transportation and monitor deliveries to customers distributors and third-party freight quotes and support cost-effective transportation shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays shortages damages and service carrier relationships and monitor performance against service required shipping documentation is accurate and & Customer FulfillmentCoordinate customer orders to ensure on-time in-full (OTIF) daily order requirements and communicate priorities to warehouse and production with Customer Service to manage customer expectations regarding delivery inventory availability and identify potential supply order discrepancies and customer shipment & Warehouse CoordinationMonitor inventory levels of finished goods packaging materials and inventory accuracy through transaction verification and reconciliation product transfers between warehouses and external storage with cycle counts and inventory closely with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient product flow and storage & Supply Chain CoordinationCollaborate with Production Planning to ensure product availability aligns with shipment supply chain risks shortages and transportation concerns to scheduling activities to balance customer requirements and operational with supply chain projects focused on continuous improvement and cost & DocumentationEnsure shipping documentation complies with regulatory food safety and customer records including bills of lading customs documentation (if applicable) temperature records and carrier traceability and product recall to all food safety quality health and safety and company & Continuous ImprovementPrepare logistics reports and performance transportation costs and identify opportunities for KPIs such as: On-Time DeliveryFreight Cost per KilogramCarrier PerformanceInventory AccuracyOrder Fill RateCustomer Service LevelsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and root-cause problem as & RequirementsPost-secondary diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Operations Management or a related Chain Canada (SCMP) designation is considered an asset.2-5 years of experience in logistics transportation supply chain warehousing or customer in a food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment is working with ERP systems and inventory management proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office with ERP systems such as SAP Microsoft Dynamics NetSuite Sage or of transportation management and inventory control of food manufacturing supply chains and cold-chain logistics is an & Working ConditionsPrimarily office-based with regular interaction in warehouse and production exposure to refrigerated production and warehouse to move throughout a manufacturing facility require occasional flexibility in working hours to support transportation or customer thank all applicants for their interest selected for an interview will be kindly ask you do notcontactus by offer of employment will be conditional uponsuccessfulreference checks and employment Dairy is committed to diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities.
