Company Description Infinite Strength and Wellness is a fitness and wellness company committed to helping individuals build strength, improve overall health, and develop sustainable lifestyle habits. Programs are designed to combine effective exercise methods with education on proper movement and recovery. Infinite Strength and Wellness emphasizes professional instruction, community-building, and long-term client success. Role Description The Group Fitness Instructor is a contract, on-site role based in Burlington/Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for planning and leading safe, engaging, and effective group fitness classes for diverse participants. Day-to-day tasks include designing class formats and workout plans, demonstrating exercises with correct technique, providing modifications and progressions, and monitoring participant safety throughout each session. The instructor will welcome and check in participants, answer questions, and deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after classes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workout space, collaborating with other team members on programming and events, and supporting member retention through positive interactions and encouragement. We are looking for trainers to lead classes in HIIT, Mat Pilates, Strength Training, Youth Athletics, Sport Mobility, Slow Flow & Deep Stretch, Yogalates, Athletic Conditioning, and PickleFit Qualifications - Candidates should possess skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to confidently lead classes and guide participants through safe, effective workouts. - Candidates should possess skills in Personal Training and Fitness Industry knowledge to tailor programming, provide individualized feedback, and stay current with best practices. - Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build relationships, respond to client needs, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment. - Relevant certifications in group fitness and/or personal training (e.g., from recognized fitness organizations) are highly beneficial. - Current CPR/AED certification and knowledge of basic emergency procedures are preferred. - Ability to communicate clearly, motivate diverse groups, and work collaboratively with colleagues is essential. - Experience working with a range of fitness levels and body types, and a commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive coaching practices, is strongly valued.
