Ce que nous recherchons

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) gestionnaire en ingénierie pour guider la croissance et le développement de notre équipe interne de services d'ingénierie. Dans ce rôle, vous chapeauterez un groupe d'ingénieurs très en demande, déployés sur divers projets de jeux AAA pour soutenir le co-développement, l'optimisation sur les plateformes et les initiatives techniques critiques. Vous saurez allier un mentorat pratique à une gestion structurée des personnes afin d'aider vos développeurs/développeuses à progresser et à livrer des expériences de jeu exceptionnelles.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Diriger, mentorer et gérer une équipe distribuée de 8 ingénieurs ou plus, en cultivant une culture d'apprentissage continu et d'excellence technique.
  • Élaborer des plans de développement individuel (PDI), établir des objectifs de performance annuels et définir des parcours d'évolution vers des rôles de leadership technique ou de gestion des personnes.
  • Collaborer avec les leaders des studios et les producteurs/productrices internes pour aligner le déploiement des ressources en ingénierie avec les échéanciers de projet et les objectifs de jalons.
  • Établir les meilleures pratiques des studios en matière de révision de code, de documentation technique et de boucles de rétroaction proactives.
  • Maintenir de solides compétences en ingénierie en contribuant à la programmation hors du chemin critique, aux preuves de concept techniques et aux révisions de code.

Ce qui fera de vous la personne idéale

  • 10 ans ou plus d'expérience professionnelle en génie logiciel dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo, dont 2 ans ou plus en gestion directe d'ingénieurs.
  • Avoir participé à la livraison de plusieurs titres AAA sur consoles, avec une compréhension approfondie des pipelines de développement sur consoles, des certifications et des capacités matérielles.
  • Excellentes compétences en programmation en C/C++ et solide compréhension des architectures multithread.
  • Solides compétences en communication pour gérer les relations avec les studios externes et traduire les risques techniques pour des partenaires non techniques.
  • Baccalauréat en informatique, en développement de jeux ou expérience équivalente.

Atouts supplémentaires

  • Solide expérience avec des moteurs de jeu (Unreal Engine, Unity ou moteurs personnalisés).
  • Expérience pratique dans le multijoueur, la mise en réseau, le rendu, la physique ou le portage sur consoles.

What We Need

We are looking for an Software Development Manager to guide the growth and development of our internal Engineering Services team. In this role, you will champion a highly-in-demand group of engineers deployed across various AAA game projects to assist with co-development, platform optimization, and critical technical initiatives. You will balance hands-on mentorship with structured people leadership to help our developers grow and deliver outstanding player experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of 8+ staff engineers, driving a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Build Individual Development Plans (IDPs), set annual performance goals, and establish paths for progression into craft or people leadership roles.
  • Partner with studio leaders and internal producers to align engineering resource deployment with project timelines and milestone objectives.
  • Establish studio best practices around code reviews, technical documentation, and proactive feedback loops.
  • Keep engineering skills sharp by contributing to non-critical path coding, technical proofs of concept, and code reviews.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in the video game industry, with 2+ years directly managing engineers.
  • Strong engine experience (Unreal Engine, Unity, or custom engines).
  • Shipped multiple AAA console titles with a deep understanding of console development pipelines, certification, and hardware capabilities.
  • Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and solid comprehension of multi-threaded architectures.
  • Strong communication skills to manage external studio relationships and translate technical risks to non-technical partners.
  • Undergrad or higher degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

  • Practical experience working on multiplayer, networking, rendering, physics, or console porting.
