Ce que nous recherchons

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) gestionnaire en ingénierie orienté(e) processus pour diriger une équipe axée sur la création d'outils de développement centralisés, de frameworks d'automatisation et de produits de pipeline. Dans ce rôle, vous ferez évoluer une équipe d'ingénieurs hautement performants qui créent des systèmes partagés agissant comme des multiplicateurs de force pour nos studios. Vous combinerez une solide supervision de l'architecture technique avec une gestion des personnes de haut niveau afin de vous assurer que nos outils accélèrent la création de jeux à travers le catalogue de 2K.

Ce que vous ferez

  • Diriger, mentorer et gérer une équipe de 8 ingénieurs ou plus spécialisés en outils et en automatisation, en assurant le suivi des attentes de performance et en définissant des cadres de développement de carrière.
  • Standardiser l'intégration technique, les plans de développement individuel (PDI) et les métriques d'évaluation de la performance pour le groupe d'ingénierie.
  • Collaborer avec les directeurs/directrices techniques et les gestionnaires de produit pour définir les standards de génie logiciel et favoriser l'adoption de pipelines automatisés.
  • Superviser le développement des principes de tests automatisés, des systèmes CI/CD et des outils réutilisables de création de contenu afin d'éliminer les goulots d'étranglement dans les flux de travail.
  • Maintenir de solides compétences techniques en rédigeant du code pour des composants logiciels non critiques en termes de délais, en révisant la documentation et en explorant de nouvelles technologies.

Ce qui fera de vous la personne idéale

  • 10 ans ou plus d'expérience en génie logiciel (idéalement dans les jeux, les effets visuels ou les outils d'animation), dont 2 ans ou plus en gestion directe d'ingénieurs.
  • Connaissance approfondie des pipelines de développement logiciel, des principes de tests automatisés et des concepts CI/CD.
  • Compétences avancées en programmation en C++, C# ou Python dans de grandes bases de code à branches multiples.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en alignement pour faire le pont entre les équipes techniques, la stratégie produit et les partenaires des studios.
  • Baccalauréat en informatique, dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente.

Atouts supplémentaires

  • Expérience démontrable avec les systèmes de base d'Unreal Engine 5, les outils d'éditeur ou les frameworks Blueprint.
  • Expérience avec les technologies web, les architectures de bases de données ou les systèmes distribués.
  • Exposition à l'apprentissage automatique ou aux intégrations d'IA dans les pipelines de création de contenu.

What We Need

We are looking for a process‑minded Software Development Manager to lead a team focused on building centralized dev tools, automation frameworks, and pipeline products. In this role, you will scale a team of high‑performing engineers creating shared systems that act as force multipliers for our studios. You will combine solid technical architecture oversight with strong people management to ensure our tools accelerate game creation across 2K's portfolio.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8+ tools and automation engineers, tracking performance expectations and defining career development frameworks.
  • Standardize technical onboarding, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and performance review metrics for the engineering group.
  • Collaborate with Technical Directors and Product Managers to define software engineering standards and drive the adoption of automated pipelines.
  • Oversee development of automated testing principles, CI/CD systems, and reusable content creation tools to eliminate workflow bottlenecks.
  • Maintain sharp technical skills by writing code for non‑time‑critical software components, reviewing documentation, and exploring new technologies.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience (ideally within games, VFX, or animation tools), with 2+ years directly managing engineers.
  • Expert knowledge of software development pipelines, automated testing principles, and CI/CD concepts.
  • Highly proficient programming skills in C++, C#, or Python within large, multi‑branch codebases.
  • Excellent communication and alignment skills to bridge the gap between technical teams, product strategy, and studio partners.
  • Undergrad or higher degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

  • Demonstrable experience with Unreal Engine 5 core systems, editor tooling, or blueprint frameworks.
  • Experience with web technologies, database architectures, or distributed systems.
  • Exposure to machine learning or AI integrations within content creation pipelines.
