  • Clarify business need, expected value, AI fit, data and process readiness, ownership, dependencies, risks, constraints, and next steps.

  • Maintain visibility across AI use cases, enablement activities, adoption support, automation opportunities, modernization touchpoints, and related technical debt considerations.

  • Track status, ownership, constraints, decision points, sequencing considerations, change impacts, and recommended progression paths.

  • Support a consistent intake and triage approach that improves transparency, responsible AI use, and request quality.

AI Use Case Assessment, Gating and Prioritization Support

  • Apply intake, gating, readiness, responsible AI, value, risk, and assessment criteria to support consistent evaluation, routing, prioritization input, and decision preparation.

  • Assess AI and automation requests against scope, business value, risk, data sensitivity, process readiness, ownership, dependencies, change impacts, and available capacity.

  • Prepare rationale for requests that should proceed, pause, defer, redirect, escalate, or be addressed through enablement rather than a technology solution.

  • Identify missing information or recurring issues and recommend improvements to AI intake criteria, guidance, templates, enablement supports, and governance practices.

AI solutions, Automation and Responsible Adoption Support

  • Support AI solution shaping, automation opportunity analysis, Copilot adoption activities, prompt and workflow guidance, and responsible use practices.

  • Coordinate with business areas and delivery partners to clarify problem statements, value, readiness, data considerations, dependencies, constraints, risks, and decision points.

  • Prepare use case summaries, adoption materials, trackers, and decision-support materials for DEA and leadership review.

Stakeholder Coordination, Enablement and Opportunity Shaping

  • Engage business areas, IST partners, product owners, sponsors, and governance participants to clarify AI needs, use cases, options, dependencies, risks, and decision requirements.

  • Translate emerging AI and automation requests into structured opportunity profiles, problem statements, assessment summaries, enablement plans, and recommended progression paths.

  • Support working sessions, AI literacy activities, use case reviews, adoption support, and follow-up activities to maintain momentum.

  • Promote consistent documentation, responsible AI practices, evidence standards, and decision-framing. Reporting, Tracking and Leadership Decision Support

  • Prepare regular reporting for DEA and leadership on AI demand, use case status, adoption progress, constraints, outcomes, risks, and decisions required.

  • Maintain trackers, dashboards, decision logs, adoption views, and status summaries that support transparency and follow-through.

  • Provide concise analysis and summaries for leadership briefings, prioritization discussions, AI enablement planning, modernization planning, and governance consideration.

Working Methods, Templates, and Transition support

  • Document working methods, AI intake guidance, responsible use considerations, assessment criteria, enablement materials, reporting approaches, and decision-support materials.

  • Recommend practical improvements to AI intake, use case assessment, enablement supports, prioritization, tracking, and reporting practices.

  • Support knowledge transfer and transition guidance for in-flight AI use cases, open decisions, unresolved constraints, adoption supports, and ongoing reporting needs.

What you must have:

  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in AI enablement, digital enablement, automation, solution shaping, technology planning, or related enterprise work. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience coordinating AI use case intake, assessment, enablement activities, stakeholder engagement, prioritization support, and reporting in a complex environment.

  • Experience preparing analysis, enablement materials, briefings, dashboards, trackers, business cases, use case summaries, or decision-support materials for leadership or governance purposes.

Preferred

  • Experience in AI enablement, Microsoft Copilot adoption, automation, digital transformation, data enablement, governance, or enterprise modernization.

  • Working knowledge of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity considerations, privacy, information management, and technology governance.

  • Experience applying business case, value assessment, use case framing, change impact, and decision-framing concepts.

  • Experience in a pension, benefits, public sector, or regulated environment.

Desirable Skills and Abilities

In practical terms, the candidate should bring the following skills and abilities to successfully deliver the work:

  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices, automation concepts, data readiness, process improvement, technology lifecycle, sustainment, and enterprise planning.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across business areas, IST partners, product owners, sponsors, and governance participants.

  • Ability to prepare concise briefings, dashboards, trackers, adoption summaries, use case materials, decision logs, and status reporting.

  • Comfort working in an evolving AI environment where requests, processes, accountabilities, guardrails, and tools may still be forming.
