This individual will build credibility by knowing what's happening in clients' businesses and with their competitors.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutionsAssisting in proposals and commercial propositions that align with customer needs and differentiate Capgemini from the competitionBuild credibility by knowing what's happening in clients' businesses and with their competitorsEffectively navigate ambiguous and complex relationships and contexts with a very good level of emotional intelligence, leveraging differences, asking questions, and supporting coaching and feedbackAdapt to varied cultural and personal styles to work effectively with others' differences, concerns, and motivations.Collaborate actively with subject-matter professionals, product owners, end users and client stakeholdersProvide strategic insights and oversight for team members, anticipate client needs and be responsive to clients as part of engagement delivery; monitor service quality in respect of specific client requirementsSuccessfully manage engagements to schedule and budgetStay up to date with industry trends, developments, technologies, and new digital grid technology capabilities; actively share these with team members and apply to existing engagements.Model effective collaborative behaviors when working with individuals, teams, clients, and technology partnersDevelop OT & AMI technology roadmaps aligned with regulatory requirements, utility goals, and customer experience priorities.Collaborate with business, IT, operations, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to define architectural standards and design patterns.Support digital grid initiatives, such as demand-side management, outage management, DER integration, and time-of-use billing.Stay current with the latest trends in the Power & Utilities industry to be a trusted advisor/subject matter expert for our client's businessBuild, validate, and remediate electric distribution network models in CYME / CYMDIST — including primary and secondary networks, transformers, regulators, capacitors, switches, and protective devices — ensuring the as-built network represented in GIS translates into accurate, analysis-ready models for load-flow and planning studies.Perform and interpret power-flow, voltage-drop, fault/short-circuit, and load-allocation studies on unbalanced three-phase distribution feeders.Diagnose and correct GIS network model errors — connectivity breaks, phasing inconsistencies, mis-snapped features, topology and tracing failures, and orphaned or duplicated assets — and reconcile discrepancies back to the system of record.Extract and transform network data from utility GIS (Hexagon G/Technology or Esri ArcGIS Utility Network / ArcFM) into validated analysis models, applying QA/QC routines, validation rules, and reconciliation reports to improve overall model and data quality.Required Skills and QualificationA bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fieldProven 3-5 years work experience in one or more of the following areas: Electric Transmission, Distribution, Generation, Regulatory, Customer, AMI, ADMS, OMS, DMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, or GIS implementationOperational Technology (OT) and/or AMI experience through operations or delivering consulting services to Power and Utilities clients would be an asset.A good understanding of operations, business processes, use cases, business value and OT vendor landscape for Power and Utilities clientsCommunicate complex messages and implement difficult decisions while building and maintaining strong relationships based on trustDemonstrated ability to have worked on complex problems requiring cross-functional team coordinationProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentStrong client management, road mapping, and workshop facilitation skillsThe flexibility to expand horizons and gain competence in multiple digital grid domainsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to clearly communicate with leadership and colleagues about technical capabilities, limitations, issues and recommendationsDemonstrated experience building and running distribution models in CYME / CYMDIST, with in-depth, practical power-systems knowledge (three-phase unbalanced load flow, voltage regulation, fault analysis, and protection fundamentals).Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair GIS network connectivity models — network tracing, geometric/utility-network topology, and phasing correction — on utility GIS platforms such as Hexagon G/Technology (GeoMedia / G/Electric) or Esri ArcGIS (Utility Network, ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM).Working knowledge of the Common Information Model (CIM — IEC 61968 / 61970), familiarity with other distribution analysis tools (Synergi Electric, OpenDSS), and scripting/automation for data transformation (Python, SQL) considered an assetThe base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 85,000- CAD 160,000Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
