Job description

Project Manager (Client Delivery & Operations) | Remote Canada

Location: Remote (Canada)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Interview Process: 2 Rounds

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments and excels at managing multiple competing priorities.

This is not a traditional project role focused on a single initiative. You'll be overseeing a continuous stream of work across multiple projects, acting as the key liaison between client stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure work is prioritized, organized, and moving forward efficiently.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident facilitating conversations with senior stakeholders, balancing competing demands, and driving accountability across teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of work requests, projects, and support activities across multiple business initiatives.
  • Own and maintain the Jira backlog, ensuring tickets are prioritized, assigned, and progressing appropriately.
  • Keep Kanban boards accurate, organized, and reflective of current priorities.
  • Lead daily standups and team coordination activities to ensure productivity and alignment.
  • Produce timely and accurate status reports, highlighting progress, risks, blockers, and resource needs.
  • Partner closely with client stakeholders to understand business priorities and manage expectations.
  • Facilitate discussions when priorities conflict and help drive consensus on next steps.
  • Monitor team capacity and workload to ensure resources are aligned with business needs.
  • Identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, proactively escalating when needed.
  • Foster strong working relationships with both client stakeholders and internal delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Project Management, Delivery Management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or similar experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including backlog management, reporting, and Kanban boards.
  • Proven success managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence decision-making, and facilitate priority discussions.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Experience creating executive-level status reports and delivery updates.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B systems integration projects.
  • Understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) transaction lifecycle.
  • Experience within IT consulting, professional services, managed services, or staff augmentation environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
