Job descriptionJob Description – Project Manager (Repo / Securities Lending) Role : Project Manager Experience 12+ Years Location Toronto, Canada (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Work from Office) About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with extensive experience in Capital Markets, specifically Repo and/or Securities Lending. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex business and technology initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering projects that support front-to-back office operations. Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects within the Repo and/or Securities Lending domain. - Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and vendors to define project scope, objectives, and delivery plans. - Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies. - Drive project governance, status reporting, and executive stakeholder communications. - Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining quality and compliance standards. - Coordinate business analysis, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and promote continuous delivery best practices. Required Skills & Experience - 12+ years of Project Management experience delivering large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives. - Mandatory: Domain expertise in Repo and/or Securities Lending. - Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, trade lifecycle, and post-trade processes. - Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and globally distributed teams. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid project delivery methodologies. - Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with leading Investment Banks or Capital Markets organizations. - PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other relevant Project Management certifications. - Exposure to regulatory initiatives, collateral management, or securities financing operations is an advantage.
