Job descriptionInventory Manager Our client, a customs window coverage manufacturer is currently seeking an Inventory Manager. This is a newly created role and is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to build the department. This role will play a key part in implementing inventory systems, improving material planning, establishing inventory controls, and supporting operational growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with experience building processes, driving change, and optimizing inventory performance. Key Responsibilitie - sLead inventory control, material planning, and inventory optimization initiatives - .Support the evaluation and implementation of ERP/MRP systems, including data migration and process development - .Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory master data, and inventory governance standards - .Monitor inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and material availability through KPI reporting and continuous improvement programs - .Create inventory dashboards and provide recommendations to leadership on inventory health and operational efficiency - .Train and mentor inventory and warehouse staff while driving adoption of best practices and new processes - .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management and support production requirements . Qualificatio - nsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related fiel - d.8+ years of inventory, materials, supply chain, or operations experience within a manufacturing environmen - t.Experience supporting or leading ERP/MRP implementation - s.Strong understanding of inventory control, BOM management, material planning, and inventory optimizatio - n.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP system - s.Strong analytical, project management, leadership, and change management skill - s.Experience leading and developing team s.
