General Shop Laborer

ACG Construction is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to assist with day-to-day activities. This role involves a variety of tasks to support our team in maintaining and managing our properties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Shop Maintenance:

• Clean and organize the shop daily to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.

Logistics:

• Load and unload trailers with necessary tools, equipment, and materials for job sites.
• Ensure all items are securely packed and transported to avoid damage.

Site Preparation:

• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials required for each job site.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down work areas at various sites.

Support Tasks:

• Assist team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project needs and progress.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Handyman / Renovation skills are plus.
• Mechanical Skills are a plus.
