What We Need

An experienced Technical Director to act as the primary architect and domain expert for our internal products and tools portfolio. You are a high level individual contributor responsible for architecture oversight and technical design. You provide the technical foundation that allows our tools to slot into studio pipelines at scale. You are an expert at navigating complex technical environments with integrity and can bridge the gap between studio needs and platform strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and design products and tools across a breadth of domains, including game engine, pipeline, DCC, and web tools.
• Act as a domain expert for technical feasibility and risk management.
• Collaborate with studio leadership to identify common technical needs and drive adoption of shared tools.
• Perform technical due diligence and high level project estimation for new initiatives.
• Offer technical direction and mentorship to leads across the organization.
• Evaluate new technologies and APIs to ensure our platform and products remain sustainable and efficient.
• Define engineering standards for the organization and hold leads accountable.

What Will Make You A Great Fit

• 2+ years of experience building scalable AWS solutions in a leadership role
• Shipped multiple titles in lead or technical director roles.
• Experience creating and deploying centralized tools and products that improved dev and business insights.
• Strong understanding of architecture and design patterns across multiple domains.
• Ability to influence technical direction across independent studios without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to non-technical partners.
• A passion for building tools that increases developer productivity and efficiency.
• Some experience integrating AI solutions and familiarity with multiple foundation models.
• Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant engineering field.
