A valid driver's licence and vehicle are necessary for this position.Work Schedule: TBDSalary Range: $52,974.00 - $119,975.00 per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2026Required Qualifications:Member in good standing in the Ontario College of TeachersSpecial Education Part 1P/J or J/I qualifiedAdditional Qualifications as Teacher of the DeafExperienced, successful Special Education teacher and classroom teacherDemonstrated ability to teach in ASLStart Date: September 1, 2026End Date: June 30, 2027Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancyReporting to the Principal in charge of Special Education Accessibility, the Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing works directly with students with a hearing loss and provides assistance to staff regarding the development and implementation of programs to address the needs of students with a hearing loss. Other duties and or/work locations may be assigned.
