Our client, a fast-growing and innovative financial advisory firm, is looking for a Group Benefits Consultant to play a pivotal role in expanding their Group Benefits practice. What will you be doing? - Drive the continued growth of the Group Benefits portfolio by identifying and executing new business opportunities through referrals, networking, existing client relationships, and marketing initiatives. - Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex group benefits matters, including plan design, renewals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization. - Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, HR leaders, executive stakeholders, insurance carriers, and strategic partners. - Lead annual renewal processes, including market reviews, pricing negotiations, client presentations, and implementation. - Negotiate competitive pricing, renewal terms, and plan enhancements with insurance carriers to deliver the best value for clients. - Stay informed on emerging industry trends, carrier offerings, and innovative benefits solutions to provide strategic recommendations. - Collaborate with senior leadership on business growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, operational improvements, administrative hiring, and future expansion opportunities. - Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and achieving client retention goals. - Ensure all client records, documentation, and communications are accurate, compliant, and maintained within Zoho CRM (AdvisorIQ). - Continuously improve workflows, service standards, and operational efficiencies to enhance the client experience. - Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, retention, and client outcomes, and participate in monthly sales and performance review meetings using KPI dashboards. - Support day-to-day servicing activities as needed while maintaining a proactive and client-focused approach. Must haves: - Active Life & Accident/Sickness Insurance License (required). - Minimum 3 years of progressive Group Benefits experience within a brokerage, insurance carrier, consulting, or advisory environment. - Strong technical knowledge of Group benefits, Plan Design, Renewals and Negotiations. - Experience managing client portfolios and executive-level relationships. - Proficiency using CRM systems such as Zoho CRM, AdvisorIQ, Salesforce, or similar platforms. - Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
