Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team as a Delivery Driver & Yard Worker. Key Responsibilities - Load and unload trailers and disposal bins with materials and equipment - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard - Complete deliveries and pick-ups using company vehicles and trailers - Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance, including oil changes, for company vehicles and equipment - Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on small engines and equipment, as required - Maintain vehicle, equipment, and maintenance logs - Inventory counts and control - Perform general yard maintenance, including grass cutting and snow removal Qualifications & Skills - Valid Class 5 driver's licence required, Class 2 or Class 3 licence considered an asset (DZ licence preferred) - Forklift certification and experience operating a propane counterbalance forklift preferred - Experience towing trailers is preferred - Experience with inventory management or warehouse operations is an asset - Familiarity with basic equipment maintenance, including small engine service, is an asset - Strong organizational and time management skills - Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more - Willingness to commit to long-term employment - Ability to work in accordance with our drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy - Flexibility to work extended hours during the busy season We offer: - Competitive wages based on experience - A comprehensive benefits program for you and your family - Eligibility to enroll in the company pension program - Comprehensive safety training - Ongoing training and development opportunities to help you build your skills and advance your career - A team-oriented culture that values diversity, collaboration, and success - Opportunities for growth and career advancement throughout the company - Industry-specific training to support your development in the roofing industry and beyond - A safe, COR-certified workplace with an ongoing commitment to health and safety
