Sea Centric operates the largest privately owned fleet of research vessels in Canada, including the only privately owned ice class vessels equipped for Arctic operations. From our base in St. John's, we bring vessel, crew, equipment, and compliance together as one accountable partner for high stakes marine work across research, defence, offshore energy, and government.
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Reporting to help build the financial backbone of that growth. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will own the day-to-day accounting operations and play a central role in strengthening reporting, controls, and systems as the finance function scales. This is a role to build, not simply maintain: you will help shape process, structure, and reporting across a growing group of companies.
Working closely with operational leaders throughout the organization, the Manager, Financial Reporting will support vessel operations, chartering activities, scientific missions, grant funding initiatives, and commercial projects while helping drive financial excellence and continuous improvement.
Sea Centric sits at the center of Newfoundland and Labrador's ocean economy, supporting scientific research, Arctic operations, and defense and government clients working in some of the most demanding marine environments anywhere.
