The successful candidate will be a key player in influencing the financial strategy, supporting growth, and working closely with ownership. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial direction of the organization, evaluating new opportunities, and ensuring long-term success. The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for leading and managing the finance team, providing strategic financial leadership, and overseeing all financial activities, including reporting, audits, tax compliance, and risk management. They will also be involved in driving growth initiatives, evaluating acquisitions, and leading financing strategies. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management role, with a preference for those with a background in real estate or commercial properties. A professional CPA designation is required, along with advanced Excel skills and experience with Yardi being an asset. The role demands a leader with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, who can effectively partner with various teams to provide financial analysis, guidance, and decision support.
