What We're Looking For
We're seeking an energetic, organized professional with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (transportation industry experience is a significant asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (recruiting drivers in Quebec and Ontario)
- Valid Class 1 FM driver's licence
- Strong understanding of the truck driving profession, including LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and sound judgment
- Strong interviewing, communication, and candidate assessment skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the complete driver recruitment process.
- Screen applications and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Schedule and conduct road tests when required.
- Prepare hiring documentation and coordinate the onboarding of new drivers.
- Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure recruitment meets operational staffing needs.
- Represent Transport Bourassa at job fairs, recruitment events, and other employer branding activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
