Chief Fund Development Officer About the Company Impact-led organization advancing brain health for children with complex needs Industry Fund-Raising Type Non Profit Founded 2016 Employees 1-10 About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Fund Development Officer (CFDO) to play a pivotal role in advancing its national philanthropic strategy. The CFDO will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated, results-driven fundraising strategies, as well as cultivating transformational donor and corporate partnerships. This senior executive position is central to the Foundation's vision of ensuring that proven interventions reach the children and families who need them at scale. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Foundation Board to establish and achieve ambitious philanthropic growth objectives, and will be accountable for building the necessary strategies, partnerships, and fundraising infrastructure. Applicants for the CFDO role at the company should have a strong background in senior fund development, preferably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment such as health, community or social services, children's services, government, academia, or relevant private/public-sector settings. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep commitment to the mission and vision of the Foundation, and will possess exceptional communication skills, political acumen, and a leadership style that is empathetic, collaborative, and respectful. Key responsibilities include stewarding the Foundation's philanthropic growth, building coalitions and cross-sector collaborations, and ensuring that the Foundation is positioned as a trusted vehicle for high-impact, evidence-driven philanthropy. Understanding of grants and grant management is essential, as is a proven ability to engage diverse audiences, including government, private-sector, and individual donors.
