Role: Sr. Technical Environment Manager – Devops, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle
Toronto - Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite
Role Summary
The Senior Environment Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, maintaining, and governing all non-production and production environments across projects. The role ensures environment availability, stability, configuration consistency, release readiness, and effective coordination between development, testing, infrastructure, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Environment Management
• Manage Development, SIT, UAT, Performance, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
• Maintain environment schedules and availability calendars.
• Coordinate environment setup, refresh, cloning, and decommissioning activities.
• Ensure environments are available and stable for project and testing activities.
Release & Deployment Coordination
• Work closely with Release Managers and DevOps teams for deployment planning.
• Support code migrations across environments.
• Coordinate release windows and environment freeze periods.
• Ensure deployment readiness and rollback plans are in place.
Configuration Management
• Maintain environment configurations and documentation.
• Ensure consistency across environments.
• Track configuration changes and dependencies.
• Manage application versions and infrastructure alignment.
Test Environment Support
• Coordinate test data refresh and masking activities.
• Resolve environment-related issues impacting testing.
• Support SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance testing activities.
• Monitor environment utilization and optimize resource allocation.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Act as primary point of contact for environment-related requests.
• Coordinate with:

• Infrastructure Teams
• Database Administrators
• Vendors and Third Parties
Incident & Risk Management
• Investigate and resolve environment outages.
• Identify environment risks and mitigation strategies.
• Participate in root cause analysis discussions.
• Ensure timely resolution of environment-related incidents.
Governance & Reporting
• Develop environment management processes and standards.
• Track KPIs and environment utilization metrics.
• Provide regular status reports to leadership.
• Maintain audit and compliance documentation.

Experience Requirements
Senior Environment Manager (8-15 Years)
• Experience managing multiple enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Release Management and DevOps practices.
• Experience coordinating large-scale SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or custom application landscapes.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Environment Coordinator (5-8 Years)
• Experience scheduling and supporting test environments.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Understanding of deployment and testing processes.
