EIPS is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for our Facility Services department, to drive the successful planning, coordination, and execution of crucial Facility Services projects across our school division. Balancing provincial code compliance with fiscal accountability, you will serve as the technical lead and organizational bridge between design consultants, construction contractors, school administrators, and government bodies.
At Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS), we serve roughly 17,750 students across 43 diverse schools in a division that spans across urban schools in Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan, to rural schools as far as Vegreville. Based out of our Central Services office in Sherwood Park, you will join a highly integrated school division supported by 190 dedicated professionals. Professional Designation: Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a highly valued asset.
Education: A technical diploma in Architectural, Construction, or Engineering technology.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years (7+ preferred) of direct, progressive experience managing infrastructure and capital building projects.
Required: Valid Alberta Driver’s License in good standing as per the requirements of EIPS’s Vehicle and Equipment Operating Manual and access to a reliable vehicle.
