As a Community Health Clinic Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, scheduled patrolling and de-escalation, since you will be working with people all shift, in Healthcare clinic environment

Responsibilities for Community Health Clinic Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Access Control of all exit and entry ways
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Required to work with a team of highly skilled Security Professionals
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Reception Concierge desk duties
• CCTV surveillance monitoring
• De-escalate conflicts and potentially dangerous situations with tact and diplomacy
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Community Health Clinic Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
• Legally authorize to work in Canada
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
• First Aid and CPR Certification is an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use new software programs and technology systems
