The COO will be a key figure in the organization, responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, driving business performance, and supporting the company's expansion in South America and Africa. This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader with a strong technical background, ideally in engineering, and a proven track record in overseeing complex, multi-site industrial operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and communicating a clear operational vision, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal COO will have a solid understanding of operational excellence, industrial performance management, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in international market development, particularly in South America and Africa, is highly valued. The role requires a leader who can build and lead high-performing teams, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and ensure the implementation of robust health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices. The COO will also be expected to develop strong relationships with external stakeholders and act as a strategic partner to the CEO. Bilingualism in French and English is required, with Spanish being an asset, and the role involves approximately 40% to 50% international travel.
