Head of Product About the Company Forward-thinking climate tech company Industry Computer Software Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Head of Product to lead the development of software and market intelligence solutions for industrial organizations. The successful candidate will be the first senior product leader, responsible for the end-to-end product strategy and building a platform that meets the needs of heavy industrial customers in a specialized market. This role involves owning the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as translating complex customer operations, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions. The Head of Product will also lead customer discovery with enterprise industrial clients, manage the full product lifecycle, and work closely with engineering, commercial, and leadership teams to ensure product alignment with revenue goals. Applicants for the Head of Product position should have 6-12+ years of product experience, with a strong background in heavy industry sectors such as energy, commodities, markets, utilities, metals, or industrial infrastructure. The role requires a proven ability to build products from first principles in early-stage or ambiguous environments, and the ideal candidate will be a hands-on product operator with strong commercial and analytical judgment. Customer-facing credibility and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams are essential. While not mandatory, a background in commodity trading, energy markets, procurement, or risk management platforms, as well as a technical or engineering foundation, are considered advantageous.
