Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Reputable provider of welding, machining & fabrication services for the mining industry Industry Mining & Metals Type Privately Held Founded 2007 Employees 11-50 Specialties - mining - welding - steel - fabrication - transport - industrial maintenance - sandblasting - machining - and engineering About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key player in the strategic and financial leadership of the organization, working closely with the Founder and senior leadership to shape the future of the business. This role goes beyond traditional financial management; it is about developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's core values and vision. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, experience in a growing, entrepreneurial business, and a proven track record in financial operations, including cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. They should be adept at leading teams, mentoring staff, and be comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities for the CFO include strategic foresight and planning, financial oversight, and systems improvement. The successful candidate will be a people-first leader, highly organized, and capable of bringing clarity to ambiguity. They must be a confident leader, skilled in both strategic and operational aspects, and have a strong sense of judgment and prioritization. The role also involves building and maintaining external relationships, particularly in financial negotiations and partnerships. The CFO will be expected to be a resilient and adaptable team player, committed to the values and culture of the company, and able to navigate change while driving results.
