This is a full time, shore based role, located at our base in Road Town, Tortola - the heart of the beautiful British Virgin Islands. This is the sailing capital of the world.

We are looking for:

• A creative powerhouse - You love crafting compelling content and have a strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and MailChimp and emerging social trends.
• Independent & self-motivated - You take initiative and thrive in a role where you have creative freedom.
• Engaging & energetic - You’re not just behind the camera; you enjoy interacting with customers and making people smile.
• Brand-savvy - You understand how to create content that’s fun and unique while staying on-brand.
• Tech & social media proficient - You’re comfortable with content creation tools, editing apps, and analytics platforms.
• 2 years minimum years of experience in social media content creation or a similar creative role.
• Strong video editing, photography, and design skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
• Physically fit to get on and off boats.
• Must live the sailing lifestyle.
• Ability to sail is a bonus.

About the job:

• Take an active role with Conch Charters Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with our brand identity.
• Develop and execute content strategies to grow our audience, increase engagement, and drive brand awareness.
• Create high-quality visual and video content, including walkthrough videos, reels, stories, and posts, showcasing our yachts and sailing vacations in the BVI in fun, trending, and engaging ways.
• Stay ahead of social media trends, memes, and viral moments to keep our content fresh and exciting.
• Engage with followers, respond to messages/comments, and build an active online community.
• Provide reports on social media performance and suggest creative improvements.
• Carry out SEO analysis of Conch’s website.
• Take a lead on maintaining a high-quality portfolio of photographs for each boat in fleet, to showcase it's features for the website listing.
• Create a compelling yacht charter listing for each boat in fleet.
• Take a lead on taking photos of boat systems for boat books.
• Create email marketing content for weekly updates on the news on the fleet and the BVI.
• Work with the sales team to organise the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
• Develop creative copies for magazine ads.
• Deliver phenomenal levels of customer, always going the extra mile.
• Step into the role of a Customer Service and deliver chart briefs and help support charter starts.
• Dominate sales enquiries.
• A team player - You'll collaborate with the Ops Team to create compelling content to drive brand awareness.
