The successful candidate will be responsible for managing public policy issues that impact the foodservice industry at the provincial level. This includes handling policy matters in Quebec, serving as a media spokesperson, and leading advocacy efforts. The role also involves building consensus among members, drafting submissions for government bodies, and engaging with politicians and decision-makers to raise the profile of the association. The Vice President will represent the organization at events, collaborate with other entities, and manage the budget for Quebec. The position requires a strategic and proactive approach to advocacy, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on the success and support of the foodservice sector. The ideal candidate for the Vice President, Government Affairs, Quebec position at the company will have a relevant post-secondary degree, at least five years' experience in a similar role, and be fluent in both French and English.
