Job description
Our telecommunications client is seeking a Senior Netcracker Application Specialist (10+ years of experience) to support and optimize Netcracker OSS/BSS applications across telecom business processes
Join a telecommunications environment supporting OSS/BSS platforms tied to broadband connectivity and telecommunications operations. This role focuses on the administration, configuration, integration, and support of Netcracker applications including Order Management, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, and Billing. The position supports system performance, operational continuity, and enterprise integration initiatives across technical and business stakeholders.
Remote - 12 month contract
Must Haves
- 3–5 years supporting or implementing Netcracker OSS/BSS applications including Order Management, Inventory Management, Service Fulfillment, and Billing
- Telecom business processes including order to cash, service provisioning, and customer lifecycle management
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, UNIX/Linux, and shell scripting
- SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and middleware platforms
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy
- Experience with network inventory and resource modeling within Netcracker
- Understanding of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and support Netcracker OSS/BSS modules
- Monitor application health and resolve application-related issues
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and release deployments
- Support integrations between Netcracker and enterprise systems
- Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides
