The Rural Municipality of Rockwood is seeking a collaborative and experienced leader to join our Senior Management Team as Director of Operations.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and direction for the Municipality’s Operations Department. This position is responsible for the management of public works, engineering services, transportation infrastructure, drainage, fleet and equipment maintenance, building maintenance, capital projects, and the efficient delivery of municipal services.
Located just 26 km north of Winnipeg, the Rural Municipality of Rockwood is a growing and vibrant community in Manitoba’s Interlake Region. The municipality surrounds the Town of Stonewall and the Town of Teulon, and includes the communities of Argyle, Balmoral, Gunton, Komarno, Grosse Isle, and Stony Mountain. and other rural areas. The RM of Rockwood offers residents the perfect balance of rural living with convenient access to urban amenities.
