Job description

We’ve opened a role in our Guelph office for a talented, entrepreneurial Electrical Engineer to work alongside exceptional people in JLR’s Electrical group.

Pop Quiz:

Your Role as an Electrical Engineer:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As an Electrical Engineer, your role will include:

  • Applying building electrical expertise to design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure projects, including offices, healthcare facilities, educational buildings, warehouses, and industrial plants.
  • Delivering practical and innovative engineering solutions, supporting projects through planning, design, coordination, and implementation to meet client and project objectives.
  • Assisting with the management of workload of technicians and designers to ensure that project deadlines are met, and final deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and the development of estimates for engineering services.
  • Applying engineering fundamentals, including the application and verification of related software tools.
  • Preparing accurate, clearly written, and well-organized technical reports.
  • Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and architects on multidisciplinary projects.
