The Role: Dedicated Recruitment ConsultantIn this role, you will spend most of your time developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, sourcing and interviewing candidates, and coordinating the recruitment process from initial contact through to successful placement. You will work closely with clients, candidates, and internal recruitment teams to deliver high-quality staffing solutions across temporary, permanent, and contract positions.
This role balances business development and sales with recruitment delivery, ensuring clients receive exceptional service while candidates experience a professional and supportive hiring process.
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and client meetings.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct client needs assessments and develop tailored recruitment solutions.
- Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for temporary and permanent opportunities.
- Prepare candidate profiles and present qualified candidates to clients.
- Coordinate interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the CRM/ATS.
- Achieve recruitment, sales, and business development targets.
- Provide market insights, salary guidance, and recruitment advice to clients.
- Deliver an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agency recruitment, staffing, business development, or consultative sales.
- Proven success developing new business and managing client relationships.
- Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)/CRM platforms.
