Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build a cloud-native Supplier Portal for a national

Our client is a large national beverage distributor in the process of replacing a legacy third-party Supplier Portal with a custom-built, cloud-native application hosted on AWS. The platform serves thousands of external supplier users and is approaching a phased launch, with a limited pilot planned for next month and a full rollout to follow.
The immediate priority is building out a fully functional Admin Portal to manage supplier content, events, training materials, and registration workflows currently handled manually. This is a UI-heavy role on a senior, high-performing team that values technical depth, strong collaboration, and production discipline.
What You Will Be Delivering
• Frontend development across the Supplier Portal using React / Next.js and TypeScript (approximately 70% of the role)
• Backend API development using .NET 9 and C#, supporting portal features and integrations
• AWS infrastructure configuration and support across Cognito, Amplify, RDS, PostgreSQL, and related services using Terraform / IaC
• CI/CD pipeline support and deployment automation via GitLab
• Production support and troubleshooting across the application stack
Must-Have Requirements
• 10+ years of full stack development experience in enterprise environments
• Very strong frontend development skills in React, Next.js, and TypeScript (primary focus of this role)
• Solid backend experience with C# and .NET (Preferably 5+)
• Hands-on AWS experience including Cognito, Amplify, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
• Strong SQL skills across SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable joining a senior team and contributing independently from day one
• Strong production discipline, with a transparent and collaborative approach to incidents and risk
• Excellent communication skills, able to work with both technical peers and business stakeholders
Nice to Have
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or equivalent)
• Experience with containerized workloads, microservices, or event-driven architecture
• Exposure to Python or FastAPI development
• Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications to AWS
• Background in distribution, CPG, or supply chain environments
