QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Health Informatics, Statistics or Social Sciences and five (5) years' progressive experience working in an analytical capacity in a health services environment.

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret clinical data using complex statistical concepts and methodologies and present complex information in a manner that meets client needs.
• Proficiency with analytical software (including SQL, Excel, R, Tableau); experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products an asset.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of research design and methods.
• Experience working with an enterprise data warehouse.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Project management skills an asset.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing demands.
• Broad understanding of current issues, challenges and future directions of health care delivery in Canada.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
