Reporting to the Director of Heritage theDänojà Zho Manager plans coordinates and oversees the daily operations of theDänojà Zho Cultural Centre (DZCC). This includes general administrationjëjeinsupervision facility operations and maintenance exhibit development and the development and delivery of DZCC programs and visitor services.
An Eligibility List may beestablishedfrom this competition the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time permanent part-time temporary full-time temporary part-time termor auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

EssentialQualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in heritage resources museum studies tourism business administration Indigenousstudiesor a related discipline along with two years of relevant work experience; an equivalent combination of education knowledgeskillsand experience may be considered.
- Strong supervisory skills including managingjëjeinscheduling and performance.
- Knowledge or experience in marketing and communications including design and production.
- Knowledge and experience in budget management and funding proposal administration.
- Experience with operating audio-visual equipment.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft 365 (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint).
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to First Nations history culturetraditionsand values.
- Strong budget development and management skills.
Assets:
- Experience working in the service industry is an asset.
- Experience working with heritage-based organizationsor withexhibit design is an asset.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment
