Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary plus commission on completed projects

First General Services (Sudbury) Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team full-time. This permanent position is based out of our Sudbury office and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, meaningful industry.


With over 25 years of trusted service, we’re a locally owned and operated company backed by a strong national network. We specialize in property restoration for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, helping clients recover from a wide range of damage including fire, water, wind, mould, vehicle impact, vandalism, and other unexpected losses. You’ll be supported by a collaborative, knowledgeable team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and results.


Job Description:


  • Scope and estimate restoration projects using Xactimate and insurer standards
  • Manage all aspects of assigned claims from emergency response through to completion
  • Coordinate work with internal teams, insurance adjusters, homeowners, subcontractors, and engineers
  • Meet or exceed First General and client KPIs, including customer satisfaction metrics
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, quality, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Prepare work and purchase orders and approve job-related costs
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improved service and operational efficiency
  • Participate in local and national catastrophe response when required
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers to resolve issues and share resources
  • Support training and continuous improvement within the team
What We’re Looking For:


  • Minimum 5 years of restoration experience (water, fire, mould, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
  • WHMIS certification and strong Health & Safety knowledge
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) – required
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and clean criminal record – required
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, MS Outlook, and MS Word
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • A genuine passion for customer service and continuous improvement
Compensation & Benefits:


  • $55,000–$65,000 base salary + commission on completed projects

  • Monday to Friday schedule and monthly on-call rotation
Remuneration includes a base salary plus commission on completed projects. Final compensation will be based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
